START YOUR YEAR OFF RIGHT WITH A FASHION FIELD TRIP

Say it’s the New Year…you’ve
made your resolutions to what; work out, lose weight, get a makeover, but still you are feeling like a loser.
Well, TTC has the perfect solution to pep you up, perk you up, and get your new year off right. Yes,
a field trip. Say what?! Alright, stay with me now because this is
new territory. Get your girlfriends together (mainly the ones that confess to the above feelings, but also
include those that are feeling fine) everybody will love this. Put on your best skinny jeans, high heels and whatever else
makes you happy. Get a big car and drive to Sears on 1st and Lander. For
you suburbanites, that is close to Safeco Field. The landmark is the Starbucks Headquarters sign,
which, by the way, is where TTC’s mom worked for many years when it was the Sears Headquarters. Mom
was the hat and nylon buyer….so need TTC say more? OK, now you are at Sears. Stop at Starbucks first if you like since it is
right next door or better yet wait until after the “event” so you can celebrate the new you. Then,
enter Sears, find the escalator, go to the second floor, go to the tool department, ask directions to the Ladies Room.
In case no one knows the answer to that question, go south from tools, past the ladder department to the sign “Women’s
Restroom. Go in and behold the mirrors! TTC is guessing that the décor in this
restroom has not been touched since the ‘50’s. That’s good because the mirrors are extraordinary.
Immediately, you will see the “real” you: tall and skinny and gorgeous.
Now the QUESTION to ponder for 2011…which mirrors are correct…the 1950’s
mirrors or the 2011 mirrors? Happy New Year and remember “beauty
