Not wanting to become "Dear Abby" here is an updated , albeit, disguised picture of TTC

I hope this will be a fun, interactive website where "us girls" can share fashion stories, tips, successes and frustrations. Most of all where we can feel great about being and looking our fabulous ages! More to come....

OK I am ready to get started "blogging". I heard that celebrities are blogging their little hearts out and are non too good at it in many cases. If them then why not us!

MY STORY

I was a banker for 35 years. It was a lovely career. I learned a lot about business and made some money. Hopefully enough money to last for about 30 years because my husband/partner Jerry and I retired in April, 2004.

Banking is not as boring as it sounds. Actually, being one of very few women in management over the years was kind of fun. Especially, for a "FASHIONISTA". One of my big concerns about retiring was not having a good place to wear my cute little business suits. It is true that the business suits have gotten a bit dusty this past year. Somehow they are just not cute for lunch with the girls from the golf club etc. HOWEVER, I have moved on.

I am now working on creating "perfect outfits" for days with the grandkids, camping in the motorhome, lunching with the girls, golfing, hiking, shopping, and going out with friends.

My sister in law, Judy, suggested sharing this love of clothes and costumes via a website. I am excited about it because women can be gorgeous and CHIC in all sorts of situations. Sometimes it is just a matter of the tasteful silver bracelet worn with the tee shirt and jeans. I think of the Parisian woman that I saw waving a taxi. Her clothes were not eye catching but the gold bangle bracelet that showed when she raised her hand was "perfect". Of course, CHIC is always a matter of attitude. The female Flamenco dancers in Seville, Spain just oozed attitude...confident and haughty. Their wonderful polka dot flamenco dresses didn't hurt either.

So how to achieve the look when you have one grand kid on you hip and two more running on ahead? I am working on it. Any suggestions?

Future blogs will explore this question along with topics of critical interest such as:

Anything else I can think of or my readers suggest.
